 | Rotomec augers fit on most manufacturer's three point mounted post hole diggers. To make sure, verify the following: 1) The output shaft on your post hole diggers gearbox is 2" outer diameter. 2) The bolt holes on the output shaft are 1/2" in diameter. 3) The bolt holes are at 90° of one another and spaced 2" apart. |
Call before you dig
811 is the free national before-you-dig service. Anyone who plans to dig should contact 811 or go to their state 811 center’s website before digging to request that the approximate location of buried utilities be marked with paint or flags so that you don’t unintentionally dig into an underground utility line. Could not recommend it enough. This post hole digger has paid for itself the first time I used it. Had it little ove a month now and from the time you put it together you can tell that it’s built heavier than most of the ones out there. The fact that this is one of the few units that allows you to mount a hydraulic downpressure cylinder also speaks of the build quality. There is a reson why the box store ones do not offer that, the boom would split in half the first time you operated the cylinder. In my opinion if you live in an area with hard clay, the hydraulic downforce kit is a must have.
