Highly engineered gearbox
Highly enginneered & rugged gearbox manufactured in-house using quality components by Rotomec.
Axial grease fittings
Spindles are quipped with axial grease fittings that allow operator to grease spindle from the top without having to remove the belt shields.
Cast iron pulleys
Heavy duty, individually balanced cast iron pulleys are more durable than steel or plastic ones often used by competitors and do not get damaged whenever serviced.
Single belt transmission
Heavy duty reinforced belt (BX) with spring loaded tensioner provide over 180° coverage of all pulleys.
Pins that stay in place
Mowers that use traditional cotter pins often lose them when the mower gets too close to a bush. This not only causes the loss of the pin but may also cause the loss of the height adjustment spacers and in some cases even the wheel yokes. Our designed and manufactured a pin that will stay securely fastened under almost any circumstances.

It is actually a pretty rugged mower for the $’s and does a great job if you keep the blades sharp and the under-deck cleaned of too much wet grass. The 1st time I did my neighbor’s 5 acres he asked “What the H*** did you cut that with…it’s amazing…there’s not a shred of cut grass to be seen”.

The C28RD5H is not a brush hog, but it seems to hold its own on blackberries, tree roots, stumps and old fence. And I thought it still cut pretty nice too! Last year I mowed several acres of rough former hayfield and I was pleased as punch with the results. By fall it was starting to look like a lawn, except for all the hills and valleys.

Bought this unit in 2015 and it has not let me down yet. Installed new blades last year.
