ROTOMEC tillers are ideal for use by farmers, landscape contractors, vegetable growers, nurseries, orchards and vineyards. The tiller is available in four working widths: 42”, 50”, 58” and 66” for tractors ranging from 18 to 40 HP at 540 rpm. The built-in manual side-shift allows the ROTOMEC tiller to work not only in a center position but also in a side-shifted one in order to operate closer to plants, bushes, sidewalks and, if necessary, to cover one of the two tractor wheels.

The manual side-shift system is extremely simple and easy to use, all tools needed for this operation are included with every tiller. Our tillers also feature a rugged gearbox, telescopic safety shielding, hinged adjustable heavy gauged tail gate, solid steel center shaft, full size knives, wear protection chain case cover, adjustable depth control skids, exchangeable sprockets for two rotor speeds. The transmission is chain driven in a grease bath. The PTO shaft is equipped with a shear pin safety. A slip clutch is available as an option.

Built-in manual side shift

ROTOMEC tillers feature a built-in manual side shift system that allows operator to either keep the tiller center mounted behind the tractor, like a traditional unit, or offset the tiller to the right of the tractor. This is particularly beneficial when trying to till over the right tractor tire and closer to obstacles.

Forward or reverse tilling rotation

ROTOMEC tillers may be set up with either a forward or reverse rotating rotor. When the rotor rotates forward the tiller will have a tendency to bury the rocks while when the tiller rotates backwards it will have a tendency to bring any rocks to the surface.

Gearbox manufactured by ROTOMEC

Unlike other manufacturers who purchase gearboxes from outside suppliers, we build our own gearbox in-house using high strength steel for its gears and top of the line bearings and seals.

ASA 80 Chain drive

Lateral ASA 80 chain drive transmission in oil bath. Our chain transmissions are oversized specifically to avoid any downtime due to maintenance. Our Chain transmissions also offer over 180° gear coverage resulting in a smoother and better distributed power transmission.

Reversible sprockets

ROTOMEC tillers are equipped with reversible sprockets that allow you obtain two tillage speeds: Standards speed is 231 rpm, Increased speed is 375 rpm.

Rotor supports

Rotor supports are made out of stamped steel.

Flanged rotor shaft

The flanged rotor shaft allows operator to quickly disassemble the rotor from the tiller for easy and comfortable blade service and replacement.

Side skids with Infinite adjustments

Side skids allow for tiller depth adjustment to be set anywhere from 0″ to 7 1/4″.

Reverse rotation (factory installed)

RVRXXT40 reverse rotation.
With this option ordered, unit will arrive from the factory assembled with a reverse rotating tiller rotor.
